Power Bracelets?
At the FIBA World Championships this fall, several members of the USA basketball team could be seen sporting a new athletic fad: Power Balance Bracelets. The manufacturer claimed that the $30 bands use a hologram disc to optimize bodily energy flow. Now, Power Balance admits that there is no credible scientific evidence to support their claims. Today, "Outside the Lines" reporter Mark Schwarz examines the phenomenon of Power Bracelets:
